Amy Rabbio-
Artist- Pastel and Acrylic
Originally from Michigan, Amy spent 15 years living in Houston Texas. While in Texas she began taking classes in Watercolor and discovered her love of art. After moving to Evergreen in 2003 with her husband and two boys she continued to expand her knowledge and portfolio by working with some of Evergreen's local artists through the Center for the Arts Evergreen. She was introduced to Acrylic and Pastel by her friend and mentor, Sally Davidson Marovich and these then became her favorite mediums in which to work. The beautiful Evergreen Colorado area and its wildlife provide Amy with most of her inspirtation although she is continually inspired by nature as she travels throughout the country.
Amy is a member of the Pastel Society of Colorado, Center of the Arts Evergreen and The Evergreen Artists Association. She was a member of the Colorado Mountain Art Gallery in Georgetown from 2014 to 2021 when the Gallery closed. She currently displays her work at Center for the Arts Evergreen, Last Friday events and Summerfest.
As her mentor Sally often said " any day you can paint is a good day" and Amy hopes that her artwork can also be shared with you so that you too have a good day.
